Step 1
Website Strategy
I want to learn everything I can about your brand before we get started! I’ll send over an in-depth questionnaire to learn more about your business, strategy/goals, branding, and target market.
Step 2
Copywriting framework + website map
Once we get the details in place, I’ll start working on the wireframe for your website copywriting. Keyword research will help me make every page of your website SEO-friendly and optimized to generate traffic. Before I begin writing copy, you’ll have an opportunity to take a look at the wireframe to contribute any additional details you want included.
Step 3
First draft (timeframe is 3-4 weeks)
This is where the fun begins. I’ll be taking all the notes and research I’ve accumulated and start drafting up the initial copy on a Google document. Once the initial draft is complete, I’ll send over for your review and allow you to make notes or changes.
Step 4
Final draft + project completion
Once you’ve submitted requested changes, I’ll head back into the office and make those alterations! I’ll go through the entire document a final time to make sure it’s clear, concise and totally on brand for your small business. I’ll send you (or your website design team) a final draft and then it’s time to launch your brand new copy!
